Details of In-Stock Compression Springs

All in-stock compression springs are right-wound and manufactured according to DIN 2095 quality grade 2. Calculations were carried out according to DIN 2089 part 1. After winding, all compression springs are thermically relaxed. Springs showing a setting tendency are pre-set cold. In general, one coil per side is closed. The end coil is ground for springs with a wire diameter over 0.5 mm. The specified forces and spring deflections apply under static or quasi-static conditions only.

Manufacturing Compensation
Outer diameter De, length Lo and maximum load Fn are tolerated by our standard springs. In order to be able to meet these tolerances, we reserve the right to compensate using d (wire diameter) or n (number of coils).

Springs are manufactured from patented drawn spring steel wire in accordance with EN 10270-1-SH / DH. Spring steel EN 10270-3-1.4310 is used for the stainless steel version. The tolerances for wire diameter deviation are in accordance with DIN 2076.

Springs manufactured from steel wire in accordance with EN 10270-1-SH / DH are lightly oiled after heat treatment. Springs manufactured from EN 10270-3-1.4310 stainless steel are cleaned before heat treatment.

Surface Finishing
All items are available with the following surface coatings on request: zinc-plated, nickel-plated, tin-plated, silver-plated, gold-plated, gliss-coat, plastic, Deltatone, Deltaseal, Deltamagni and other common surface finishes.

Shot Blasting
To achieve higher durability, we can also offer our standard springs in blasted versions. We use two separate blasting shots: steel balls for spring steel in accordance with EN 10270-1-SH / DH; and stainless steel balls or glass beads for stainless spring steel in accordance with EN 10270-3-1.4310.

We offer the following packaging systems to facilitate easy handling and processing and to provide protection against damage and soiling:

Plastic bag with counted quantity for easy removal
Fixed to adhesive strips for easy removal
Threaded on wire or rods (magazines) for easy removal or automatic feeding

Returnable Packaging
Plastic tube suitable for automatic feeding
Honeycomb packaging for easy removal, suitable for protection against damage and soiling
Plastic partition box with cover, suitable for automatic removal, protection against damage and soiling.
