Construction Details of In-Stock Die SpringsConstruction
All in-stock die springs are manufactured from high-quality chrome-vanadium steel according to ISO 10243. Highly resilient die springs are used mainly in tool manufacturing, jigmaking and mechanical engineering.
If possible, these springs should be installed under pre-tension in order to avoid shock.
Sufficient mounting is necessary in order to avoid lateral displacement.
The life-span of the individual springs may be increased by using as many springs as possible and not exceeding the quoted maximum ranges and loads of the springs.
The maximum operating temperature is 200°C.
Die springs are colour coded for the various load types.
Brown or green = light loads
Blue = middle loads
Red = heavy loads
yellow = very heavy loads
